Description
The Government’s much heralded Equality Bill is now completing its way through Parliament. It is the most far-reaching discrimination legislation for many years and will have a major impact on every employer.
The Bill goes much further than simply consolidating all the discrimination strands. It makes major changes to the substance of the legislation, which will require all employers to review their personnel policies.
Attend this conference, devised and chaired by Michael Rubenstein (publisher of Equal Opportunities Review) and get an in-depth review of the new Equality Bill, in particular, the clauses and schedules that will have an impact on employment law. Delegates will also receive a complimentary copy of EOR’s comprehensive multi-part guide to the Equality Bill.
Conference highlights include:
- New definitions of discrimination: Darren Newman, In company Training Services
- Changes to disability discrimination: Andrew Short, Outer Temple Chambers

- Positive action: Charles Wynn-Evans, Dechert LLP
- New provisions on equal pay: Jane Fielding, Wragge & Co. LLP
- The new public sector equality duty: Barbara Cohen, Independent consultant
