The Court of Justice of the European Communities gave preliminary rulings concerning the interpretation of cl5(1), (2) and 8(3) of the framework agreement on fixed-term work concluding on 18March 1999 (the Framework Agreement), which was annexed to Council Directive (EC) 1999/70 (concerning the framework agreement on fixed-term work concluded by ETUC, UNICE and CEEP).
